Coventry City could be without Peter Vincenti for anything up to four months.

The summer signing from Rochdale was injured in the first half of City's 3-2 win over Wycombe Wanderers on Friday December 22nd and was finally scanned on Thursday.

The results have shown that Vincenti has a Posterior Cruciate Ligament injury in his knee and speaking about him,City boss Mark Robins told the media: “It’s bad news for Peter. It’s a posterior cruciate ligament which can be anything between eight weeks and four months.

“They don’t usually operate with a posterior because it’s not a total rupture or anything that serious.”
