Coventry City's chances of avoiding a drop in League One could  increase with the news that Portsmouth could be docked ten points by The Football League.

There have been reports this afternoon that Portsmouth FC will enter administration either later today or tomorrow and therefore will face an automatic ten points loss for doing so.

Portsmouth, who currently have 35 points, will stay out of the bottom three if the ten points are deducted but will only be three points ahead of City and on the same points as third from bottom Nottingham Forest.
