Former Coventry City centre half Robert Page has been appointed as a coach to Port Vale's Youth Team.
Page had been playing for Chesterfield last season but his contract was not renewed and the former Wales international has opted to go into coaching.
Vale boss and Former Sky Blue player and manager Micky Adams who made Page captain during their time together at CCFC, told Port Vale's official website: "I'd also like to welcome Robert Page to the coaching staff to work with the youth team.
"Robert has a real hunger to succeed as a coach and I know he will provide value to all of the youngsters coming through."
