West Midlands Police have confirmed that Northamptonshire Police will be policing Coventry City matches.
The police have tweeted: "Northants Police will be attending all fixtures on a liaison side, WMP are no longer overseeing Coventry City Football Club due to the move to Northampton.
"Also a big thank you to all CCFC supporters over the years, it has been a pleasure working and getting to know you. #CCFC #skyblues #pusb"
Northamptonshire Police who only have one other current Football League team in Northampton Town to police, have said that they will take-over until Coventry City Football Club are back in the Coventry area.
