Brentford boss Uwe Rosler was pleased with the way his side kept going to record a 2-1 victory but less than happy with the fans who mocked Paul Hayes.

Speaking to the Press Association, Rosler said: "I was pleased with the way we stuck at it and kept playing our football and delighted that someone up there was looking down on us,"

Paul Hayes, who to be fair, missed some very good chances that would have seen City taking a good hiding, was ironically cheered when he was replaced and Rosler hit out saying : "I will not tolerate that from our fans because I know that once he scores he will get more and he's a very important part of the way we play. He will be starting on Saturday.

“I wish our supporters would still support our players even if they miss chances. We are all in the same boat. “The boys played tremendously. We need everyone backing us. It is my responsibilty to make sure we score more goals”
