Yeovil Town boss Gary Johnson has said that playing Coventry City on the opening day of the League One season on Saturday August 18th should ensure a big gate for the West Country based club.

Speaking to Yeovil's club website, Johnson said: "It's a great start to get a big home game at the start of the season, especially as it is the beginning of our tenth anniversary in the Football League. Coventry City should ensure there is a big gate and a terrific atmosphere around the stadium when league football returns to Yeovil.

"In fact our first five home games are really exciting with three relegated Championship teams in Coventry City, Doncaster Rovers and Portsmouth; Sheffield United who will probably be the favourites for promotion and our local rivals AFC Bournemouth."
