Players Should Look At Themselves - Jorgensen

Claus Jorgensen has said that his fellow City players should take a look at themselves.

Speaking to the CET, the Faroe Islands international said: "I think all of the players that he signed and re-signed in the summer have got to look at themselves.

"Micky Adams puts out the team every week that he trusts in and me, for example, he trusted in me to play at Palace on Tuesday night and we have to deliver. "The manager is giving us the chance to play for Coventry, to play in a brilliant stadium for great fans. There is a great set-up at training, so there is everything that a footballer could want. I have been at a lot of clubs where the facilities are not half as good as at Coventry and we have got to show him and the fans that we want it.

"The manager is under pressure and he knows that, but I think as players we should look at ourselves.
"From my point of view it has been a roller coaster for me so far this season - stop, start - and disappointing performances lately, but you have to be big enough to carry on with it.

"There is no point in hanging our heads down. We have to take the positives from Tuesday night into the Norwich game now. It is going to be difficult but every game is hard whether it is against another bottom side or one that is up near the top.

"This division is about producing hard work in every single game and if your opponent gives a little bit then that's when you have to take your chances. Unfortunately on Tuesday night, we gave a little bit in the first minute and that set the tone of the game.

"So we can't afford to let that happen again. We are going into three home games now and we have to improve and show everyone that we can pull through this difficult patch."
