Players Back McSheffrey

The whole Coventry City squad has issued a statement saying that they want Gary McSheffrey to stay and play his part in the future of the club.
Robert Page told the CET: "To be part of this football club is fantastic on its own and you want the best players in this league to be in and around you, and Gary is certainly one of those.
"He proved it last year and there has been a lot of speculation and hype about interest in him.
"It is hard for the lad as well because he just wants to get himself right and fighting fit for the Sunderland game like the rest of us.
"It is a bit of a distraction but all the boys are supportive and we all want him to stay. He knows that.
"We all want the club to do well and if we are going to have a fighting chance this year for promotion then he has got to be part of it."
