The player-boss was replaced just before half-time by goalscorer Johnnie Jackson during the game with Norwich on saturday with a recurrence of a pelvis injury and is doubtful for the game against the Millers.

'I just tweaked my pelvis in training on Friday and it’s knocked my groin and hamstring and it just did not have enough time to settle,' said Macca after the Palace match," he told the clubs official website, www.ccfc.co.uk

'When I got up in the morning it felt fine but five or ten minutes into the game I could feel it coming back on so I got myself off before I did any damage.

'We’ll see how it is but Tuesday night will not be far enough away for me personally, although we’ve got five or six guys who are competing for the midfield slot.
