Coventry City manager Chris Coleman is hoping that by playing matches, Freddie Eastwood can get back to full fitness.

The close season signing from Wolves injured his groin during the 3-0 defeat at home to Bristol City last month and missed out on Wales two World Cup qualifiers last week, but is expected to play today against Preston.

"Freddie is not moving well as he can but if I am honest, I expected this because he missed a lot of football last year and now we are asking him to train every day and play every week when he is not used to that," said Chris Coleman to the CT.

"He has a lot of games to catch up on but we have already seen glimpses of what he is capable of. He has got a great first touch and can strike a ball and do things that most of our other players can't and that is why he's here."
