Coventry City midfielder Don Hutchison has begged Micky Adams to play him against Leeds United on Saturday.

The 35 year old who is hoping to have a new book ready for the Christmas Market told the CET: "To be fair I don't know what it is about Leeds but I always seem to do well against them.

"I scored a cracker against them when I was at Millwall on the opening day of last season and then again for Coventry up at Elland Road last Christmas which ended up being Goal of the Season, so for some reason I always do well against them.

"I don't know what it is, whether it's because they are a big club or what that makes me play that little bit harder, I don't know. "Hopefully I might get to start in that one, I certainly hope so and I will certainly let the gaffer know that anyway!"

He added: "I would like to be playing a little bit more, the gaffer knows that, but I am happy. "At the same time I have got to be patient. "I have had a decent start and I have always said I am a team player and not just looking out for myself, so as long as the team is doing well then I am more than happy."
