Supporters game against Hull Saturday by Smiles from GMK

Right! I've confirmed we're playing 5-6 a side with running subs against Hull City Coasters on Saturday before the main event at the KC, and playing at the Gemtec Arena pitches next to the KC Stadium 10.45 kick off, playing for an hour.

Its a synthetic pitch, I think, so bring a change of footwear take studs and trainers justin, and tracky bottoms and shin pads if you want to save them pins!

There's changing rooms and showers there and we'll meet up in the Car Park at 10.30 am ish, which means if you drive safe you'll have to leave Cov around 8am ish.

Afterwards we will retire to the Halfway House on Springbank West.
To get there from Cov, M69 to M1 North, get M1 off at Junction 32 follow M18 East, travel the length of the M18 (ignore the M180 that takes you to the yellowbellies at Grimbsy) and join M62 East (going right)at the end joining on M62 junction 35 go to the end of the M62 which turns into the A63 after junction 38 at North Cave.

This is 'The Road to Hull!' On the A63 travel straight into Hull. take care at the road works at Welton / Melton where the signs tell you to slow down, if you don't you WILL be zapped by speed cameras, when you see the signs for Hull don't get off the A road before you go under the Humber Bridge follow the signs for the KC stadium, again observe the speed limit as there are mobile speed cameras all down the stretch of Road known as 'Clive Sulliavan Way' which stretches alongside the river.

Towards the end of the long duel carraigeway you will go past a retail park on your right next to the River called 'St Andrews Quay' where there's a big BandQ, Cinema and Bowling Alley, just after here you are asked to slow down again, (this is where most of the speed cameras are), as you come towards a tight left hand curve in the road which rises up a fly over. Before reaching the fly over get in the inside lane and go down the slip road at the side next to JCT 6000, (or whatever its called)and follow signs to Hull HRI Hospital.

When you're on the slip road, which last 250 yards or so - Madel Street - you will come to an island, ignore the first exit, (Hessle Road), take the straight on exit down Rawlings Way - the hospital is straight infront of you. At the end of this road at the mini island turn left onto Anlaby Road A1105 driving away from the Town Centre and Hospital.

Then drive along Anlaby Road, go over the flyover keeping in the Right hand lane. At the bottom of the flyover turn right at the lights down Walton St which leads to the KC stadium . You can park up the KC stadium then walk across to the Gemtec Arena.
