Former Coventry City striker Clive Platt has left Northampton.
Platt, who joined Aidy Boothroyd at Sixfields in June 2012, made 37 starts for Northampton and 17 appearances scoring eight goals.
However, this season, he has struggled to command a regular place in the Cobblers side and has had his contract cancelled by mutual consent.
