If certain rumours are to be believed then Phil Brown is to be interviewed for the vacant Coventry City managerial position.

Brown, as a player, played for Hartlepool, Halifax, Bolton Wanderers and Blackpool, before going into management.

After a spell as a caretaker manager at Bolton, Brown shot to prominence at Hull City, taking them into the Premier League before being sacked in 2010.

A spell of gardening leave later and he was at Preston North End but that did not work out and he left after a bad run of results in December 2011.
