Peterborough United have won the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

The League side beat Chesterfield, managed by former Coventry City midfielder Paul Cook, 3-1 in the final at Wembley Stadium.

McQuiod opened the scoring for Posh in the seventh minute and Brisley added a second in the 38th minute.

Doyle pulled one back for The Spireites in the 53rd minute but an Assombalonga penalty in the 78th minute, gave Peterborough a 3-1 win.
