Coventry City defender Martin Cranie has said that Saturday's home game against bottom side Peterborough United is a massive game for the Sky Blues.

Speaking to the club website, Cranie said: "We didn't turn up in the defeat to Scunthorpe on Sunday and the manager let us know that and against Newcastle we needed to come out and perform for 90 minutes and I think we did that.

"From the first whistle I thought we came out from numbers one to 11 and it was a blow for us that we conceded that late goal in the first half because had we gone in level at half time it could have been a very different game in the second half.

"Things don't seem to be dropping for us lately but we've just got to keep going and keep working hard and our fortunes will turn around and we need to try and start that this weekend because it will be amassive game for us against Peterborough."
