The papers this morning are rife with stories of Coventry City keeper Keiren Westwood moving to Sunderland.
The Mackams have had Westwood watched on a number of occasions and Steve Bruce is being reported as being ready to make a move for the Republic Of Ireland international.
It is fair to say that Coventry City supporters will not want to see arguably the best keeper in the division leave the Ricoh Arena but with the club losing on average £4m a season, players will have to be sold to balance the books.
Reports say anywhere between £1.5m and £5m for the fee but City will need to spend that amount if they are to get an equally as talented replacement and have any hope of maintaining a move towards to the top end of the Championship table.
