Today's People newspaper has linked City with a move for Fulham's Zesh Rehman. The Pakistan international has also been linked with his home town club Birmingham City according to the paper. Rehman has featured mainly for Fulham's reserve side and was at loan at Norwich City last season.

The News Of The World report that former City manager Peter Reid will not be at the Arena on Sunday with his former club Sunderland. The paper reckons that new boss and owner Niall Quinn was talked out of appointing Reid as his number two by former Makems Chairman Bob Murray.
