Coventry City manager Chris Coleman has said the visit of one of his former teams Crystal Palace to the Ricoh Arena on Saturday will be a 'Cup Final'.

Speaking to the CT, Coleman said: “Keiren Westwood was told to rest for six to eight days with no work at all after his injections last week so I sent him away and told him to get some time away from the training ground and hopefully he’ll come back refreshed and with a smile on his face for a cup final against Palace – because that’s what it will be..

“I went to watch them against Middlesbrough last week when I felt they worked very hard and were somewhat fortunate to win the game.

"Boro had a host of chances which they wasted but Palace dug deep and what they did do is work very hard and were hard to break down.

“They are going to be coming here after beating one of the fancied teams in this division and they will have a bit of confidence.

"They beat us here last year so it is an important game for us.”
