Pahars Linked

Coventry City have been linked with a move for Marian Pahars according to the CET.
The Latvian is now without a contract after leaving Southampton at the end of last season. He has been plagued by injuries and made numerous comebacks for Saints Reserves including a couple of appearances against the Sky Blues. Any move for Pahars is likely to be on a "pay as you play" deal.
Micky Adams will step up his keeper search next week. Marton Fulop remains a target with Stephen Bywater and Cardiff's Neil Alexander names being banded about. If he cannot find a club, Clayton Ince is expected to resume training with the club whose other two keepers are Cameron Belford and Neil Collett.
