Page's Wales U21 Well Beaten

Former Coventry City defender Robert Page got his career as an international coach off to a bad start when his Wales U21 side, were well beaten away to the Czech Republic.

Filip Novak scored the opening goal in the 17th minute of a game which did not affect qualification from the group as the Czech Republic have already booked their place in the next round and Wales cannot qualify.

Fifteen minutes into the second half and the home nation increased their lead through Thomas Wagner.

In the 68th minute, substitute Ondrej Vanek, hit a third and this was followed five minutes later by Stanislav Teci converting a penalty and then finding the net in the 79th minute.
