Page On The Come Back Trail

Coventry City defender Robert Page is on the come back trail. The Welsh international missed the last part of last season with a hip injury which required surgery but is looking forward to playing his part in the coming season.

"I'm still not 100%. "I've just started running again and I won't be allowed to do any ball work for the next few weeks. I'll just have to build up gradually but it's great to be back with all the lads again, said the South Wales Supporters Club Player Of The Year to Sky Blue World.

"It will probably be a bit harder for me to get my fitness back. It's been a little bit frustrating for me because I like to keep myself ticking over during the summer but I was on crutches for three or four weeks after my operation.

"The manager was a little bit disappointed with our fitness levels last year and all the lads were given a fitness programme to stick to over the summer. We're all really looking forward to getting going."
