Coventry City defender Robert Page will need an operation to have a double-fracture of the cheekbone pinned.

The Welsh international was floored by an unpunished forearm smash during City's 1-1 draw with Crewe last night at the Arena and stretchered off.

He drove with Richard Duffy, who suffered a broken nose to Walsgrave Hospital, where the double fracture was diagnosed.

Page who is a strong candidate for Player Of The Season is expected to be out for six weeks.

Covsupport wish both players a speedy recovery.
