Robert Page has returned to training after over coming a back injury which he picked up in the friendly against Boavista.

Talking to the club website,Page said: "I was doing really well with the recovery from my hip operation, which was a pretty major one at the end of last season. I found myself about four weeks ahead of schedule but I pulled a muscle in my back against Boavista so it has been slightly frustrating.

"It was something and nothing as well. I went up for a header that I would probably do 20 times a game. I landed slightly awkwardly and just pulled it.

"It was one of those nights though and I can honestly say there wasn't a single positive to come out of that match. Wayne Andrews picked up an injury, Sheffs was sent off, I got an injury so all in all it wasn't the best of nights, especially a week before the start of the season."
Right back David McNamee is receiving treatment for a hamstring pull but could be back the away trips to Hereford and Hull City next week.
