Page - A Disappointing Evening

Northampton Town boss Robert Page was disappointed to see his side lose 3-1 at one of the clubs he played for in Coventry City.

Page, told the Northampton Chronicle: "It's always disappointing to lose a game, of course it is, and I'm disappointed with their goals. We got off to the worst possible start, didn't we?

"It was straight from the kick-off and then we gave ourselves a chance to get back into it. They go 2-1 up and then at the start of the second half I thought we worked our way back into it.

"We dealt with the three in the middle of the park a lot better in the second half, I thought we dealt with [Jodi] Jones in the second half a bit better, with the two centre backs, and grew into the game.

"Then a moment of magic from the sub that comes on – it was a great finish, but it's 3-1 then and it's a mountain to climb.

"It's a disappointing evening – you don't like to lose games, but we live to fight another day and we'll dust ourselves down and we've got a great game to look forward to at Scunthorpe on Saturday."
