Over Forty In For City Job

The fax machine and email was going mad at Coventry City yesterday with over forty applicants applying for the vacant manager's job.

The likes of Dennis Wise, Sean Dyche and Kevin Blackwell who was at the Ricoh Arena a week ago working for Radio Sheffield, are all understood by the CT to have applied.

The trio might meet the criteria of having experience in the Championship and Football League. However, Covsupport News Service understands that  the winning candidate is likely going to be a man manager, who can squeeze every ounce of effort and more out of the players he has available. Something the Sky Blues have not had for a long while.

Last night's win against Birmingham City and the effort put in by every player, shown those watching the game what the sort of performance we want from every game and the winning candidate must be able to come to this standard in every game otherwise in eighteen months time or less, Coventry City will be looking for another new manager.
