Over £5k Raised So Far By Soldiers Charity Game

Over £5,000 has so far been raised before a charity match next week at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry to Sergeant Simon Valentine from Bedworth, Lance Corporal James Fullarton and Fusilier Shaun Bush from Coventry, Fusilier Louis Carter from Nuneaton, Corporal Joey Etchells from Mossley, Fusilier Simon Annis from Salford and Fijian-born Fusilier Pat Suesue.

The soldiers were all members of the 2nd Battalion The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers and a team made up of their fellow soldiers will face a team from Central Networks' Hinckley depot in the friendly which kicks off at 6pm at the Ricoh Arena on Friday May 7th.

All the proceeds from the game will be given to Help for Heroes, The Royal British Legion, The Royal Fusiliers Aid Society and The Forces Children's Trust.

Tickets costing £5 for adults, £3 for children or £10 for a family ticket of two adults and two children are available in person with cash from the ticket office at the Ricoh Arena or at City Central in Town.
