Mr Friend, who is not yet a friend of City's, having not had them for the last five years , is from Leicestershire and has had sixteen matches this season issuing 51 yellow cards and three red.

His last match was Doncaster's 1-0 win over Ipswich last Saturday. His last Owls game was a 1-1 draw at Swansea back in August.
