Isaac Osbourne has said that he is happy to fill in at right back if Iain Dowie wants him to.

The choice for Young Player Of The Year for both the management and supporters took over the role for the game against Udinese and looked comfortable in that position, earning rave reviews from supporters and his manager.

Dowie, who will name his side for Barnsley tomorrow but will keep it quiet until 2pm on Saturday, said to the CT: "Isaac is one of those players who can play anywhere - we played wide right last year - and gives you everything. He has got a proper work ethic."

Ossie added: "As long as there is a gap at right back and as long as I get a game I don't mind. "I have never played there before. Obviously,I have observed it a lot in training and I try to take on board what David McNamee does and Andy Whing did before him and try to put it into my game. "I'll do anything to get into the team and I don't mind playing anywhere. I will just do the best job I can."
