Isaac Osbourne is making good progress from his knee injury.
The Birmingham born midfield/defender who came through City's ranks and has twice won the Covsupport News Service Young Player Of The Year Award was injured last season and has been out ever since.
Speaking to the CT, Aidy Boothroyd said: "Ossie's been in the gym so long that he's got his own key now but he is working through it.
"It is going to be long term but to get through what he has been through aleady is a real credit to him. When you're out for a long time it toughens you up and he was pretty tough to start with.
"He is one of those players you want at your side when the going gets rough because he is a proper soldier."
