Confusion reigns tonight after a tweet from Coventry City was deleted
The tweet announced a civic reception, similar to the one held by the Lord Mayor for Coventry Rugby Club after they won the National League One title and for Wasps to celebrate their 150th anniversary, for the Sky Blues, who won their first promotion in 51 years with a 3-1 win over Exeter City in the League Two Play-Off Final at Wembley Stadium.
The tweet said the civic reception which the Sky Blues achievements are certainly very worthy of, would be held on Wednesday evening along with an open top bus parade.
This tweet has now been removed and confusion now reigns as to whether the club are having a civic reception and open top bus parade or not.
