Only Until The End Of The Season For Hendo

Jordan Henderson would miss out on playing for Coventry City if they were to get to the FA Cup Final or Play-Offs.

Due to Henderson's loan deal which is the maximum 93 days limit set by the Football League, the midfielder's loan from Sunderland which was agreed yesterday means that he cannot play any more matches for City after the final league game of the season at Ipswich Town on Sunday May 3rd.

With the transfer window not opening until after the FA Cup Final on May 30th, City could not buy Henderson either.

"I spoke to Ricky Sbragia and the Chairman spoke to Niall Quinn and they were happy for Jordan to stay with us," said Chris Coleman to the CT.

"We had to make sure the timing was right and we got him for the last game because you never know what could be ridiing on that match at Ipswich on May 3rd.

"Because of the red tape and everything when you take a player on loan if we had done it earlier, we would not have been able to get him for the last game."
