Only Thing Missing Was A Goal - Thorn

Coventry City manager Andy Thorn thought the only thing missing was a goal from City's 0-0 draw with Reading this afternoon.

Speaking to the Press Association, Thorn said:  "I don't feel any different (being permanent manager rather than caretaker). I am a proud man but I don't feel any added pressure.

"I thought we were great again against a very good Reading team.

"That's the first game we haven't scored in since I took over but that wasn't down to finishing - there was some very good goalkeeping.

"The only thing missing was a goal but we pit our wits against a really good side, one of the form teams.

"We acquitted ourselves really well and, as nil-nils go, it was a terrific game.

"There is something to build on here and you saw that from the reception the supporters gave us at the end of the game.

"We've been away to Burnley, away to Portsmouth and played Watford, Millwall and Reading.

"These have been really tough tests in a nine game run and we've come through them with flying colours."
