Only One Game To Be Arranged

According to reports, Coventry City have been told that they will only have to arrange the venue for the game on Saturday August 6 and play the next two games away from home by the Football League before playing their first home game at the Arena on Saturday August 20th.

City now face the arduous task of finding a venue for the opening day of the Championship season. Normally, the date for Premiership club's to play money spinning friendlies against foreign opposition, City may find themselves forced to play at Highfield Road if matches of this ilk are taking place.

Another option would be to try and reverse the fixture with their opponents, although needing league approval, it would certainly satisfy many supporters including those who don't wat the memory of that day on April 30th 2005 tarnished.
