Only Five Wins For City At Ashton Gate

Saturday will see Coventry City travelling to Ashton Gate for the thirty first time in a league and cup match.

City have won on five of those visits with ten draws in the previous thirty matches, scoring twenty seven goals to Bristol City’s forty eight goals.

The Sky Blues last win was a 2-1 win in February 2014 with the others - a 2-1 win in September 2011, a 1-0 win in October 1963, a 2-0 win in September 1934 and a 2-0 win in April 1922.

City’s heaviest defeat at Ashton Gate was a 5-0 loss on Boxing Day 1978.

Earlier in the season, City lost 2-0 at Ashton Gate in a JPT Southern Area Semi-Final
