One Of City's Oldest Surviving Players Dies

Jack Kendall, one of Coventry City's oldest former players has sadly died.

Jack was spotted playing for Rileys and joined City in 1944/45. He made ten appearances for City and also appeared for Warwickshire County Cricket Club as a wicketkeeper.

Jack was 89 when he died on Friday January 7th and Covsupport News Service and we are sure City supporters everywhere, would like to pass on our condolences to Jack's family and friends.

His funeral will be at Canley Crematorium on Monday 24th January 2011 at 10.45 a.m. (Flowers by arrangement).
