One Bad Result Won't Push Me Away - Venus

Coventry City Interim Manager & Otium Director Mark Venus has said that he won't let one bad result put him off.

Venus, has had little to no support from the vast majority of the City support since he took over as Interim Manager, with him being a Director of Otium Entertainment Group and his involvement with building company Dedham Homes giving supporters plenty of reasons not to trust or back him or go to matches whilst he is in charge of the team.

Again, there were calls from some of the City support during the 4-1 defeat at Oxford which featured players whom he brought to the club with Tony Mowbray or players who have come through the Academy and had new contracts, for Venus to sort it out or get out of the club and speaking in an interview carried by the Coventry Telegraph, Venus said: "I think you do ask yourself questions every night, even when you’re winning.

"I think you have to evaluate yourself and evaluate everyone but I am not going to get pushed away by one result because I think that’s wrong.

"But I'm going to tell you I’m disappointed and the reasons why."
