Police have confirmed that one Coventry City supporter was arrested and there were several ejections during the Sky Blues 1-1 draw at Chesterfield this afternoon.
The arrest is understood to have happened following a pitch invasion after James Maddison scored a free kick to give the Sky Blues a draw.
West Midlands Police have tweeted: "Great support for the travelling Sky Blues fans today.
"At Chesterfield, the majority of supporters were well behaved and enjoyed the day.
"There were several ejections due to drunkeness and one for the incident on the pitch.
"A full investigation is going on and we are supporting the Spireites Police."
