Coventry City striker Clinton Morrison was full of praise for his team-mates as he notched his second league goal in consecutive matches last night at Southampton.

"People sometimes say goals are like buses. You don't get one for so long and then all of a sudden two turn up," Morrison said to the club website.

"But I can't forget to thanks my team mates for helping with my two goals. It was a great ball from Beuzelin to put me in against Southampton and it's because of the boys that I can actually get in these positions so I have to be thankful for that.

"I have been on the bench but it's obviously nice to be starting again and hopefully the manager will keep picking if I keep scoring. We've got two games coming up against two of my old clubs so it would be nice to be involved in those."
