Oldham Athletic failed to move out of the bottom four of the League One table on Tuesday night.
The Latics, who face Coventry City on Saturday at Boundary Park, travelled to MK Dons and lost 1-0.
Nicky Maynard scored the only goal of the game in the sixth minute of second half stoppage time to keep Oldham in the bottom four but seven points ahead of the Sky Blues.
