Oldham Athletic are being linked with a bid to sign former Coventry City striker Robbie Simpson.
The striker joined City from Cambridge United for a tribunal set fee and was sold by City to Huddersfield in 2009.
Simpson, rarely featured for the Terriers and was loaned for Brentford last season but struggled with injuries.
