Richard Money has signed a three year contract at Walsall. The former City Academy boss had been on a year to year deal at the Bescot Stadium and got his side promoted back to League One last season. Eric McManus will also continue as an assistant.

Stuart Pearce could become the first full time England U21 manager. The former defender has been praised by the FA's Trevor Brooking for the performances of England in the European Championship.

Martin Fulop could be leaving Sunderland. The keeper is frustrated at a lack of opportunities at the Stadium Of Light. One website has linked City to a move for the Hungarian but it is thought highly unlikely that City will show any further interest.
