Gary Breen has signed for Wolves. The former City defender was out of contract after being released by Sunderland. He has signed a two year deal and found out this morning that his new boss will be Mick McCarthy whom Breen played for until the former Millwall and Republic Of Ireland boss was dismissed by the Makems in March.

Peter Reid has thrown his hat in the ring for the vacant manager's job at Aston Villa.

Jonny Tuffey played the whole game for Partick in their 3-1 win at Montrose last night.

Speaking about Craig Reid who has scored three times for Falkirk in their tour of Holland. Bairns boss John Hughes said: "The one thing you see right away about him is that he knows where the goal is." Reid is expected to play for Falkirk in a friendly against Norwich City.
