A Coventry City supporter who has made his money playing poker has announced a bid to buy the Sky Blues.
Dale Evans took to the radio tonight to announce his bid for the club, which whilst it remains able to be used for tax purposes, the current owners are unlikely to sell.
His claims that he had spoken to Mark Hornby, who currently lists Press Officer amongst his many roles at the club, have been vehemently denied on Twitter by Mr Hornby.
However, Mr Evans from Nuneaton, posted on his Facebook page as well as proof of his poker winnings.:"Okay all, let me clarify my proposal. Haters will be Haters!
"My stance is clear, I intend to buy this football club for us all"
