Coventry City Goalkeeping Coach Steve Ogrizovic has had an operation on his right knee.

Oggy, who made a club record 601 first team appearances and scored one goal for the Sky Blues missed Monday's game at Birmingham and Tuesday's reserve game versus Grimsby due to his knee which had swelled up.

"My right knee swelled up after training a week last Friday," said the 50 year old. "They got me straight into hospital where I had to have an operation that night.

"Infections can be very serious in joints, so they flushed it out and I have had to take it easy since."

Oggy is expected to be at the game this afternoon against Crystal Palace.
