Coventry City goalkeeper Liam O'Brien has said that City's defence dug in really well to get a 0-0 draw away to AFC Wimbledon yesterday.

The City keeper pulled off some good saves during the game and said to the club website: “It’s great to start the game and the boys dug in really well and we got the clean sheet, so we cant ask for more defensively.

“You can see that they had chances and they were strong, but I thought we matched them and another day we could’ve took three points, but it’s good to come home with the first point on the board.

“They get it wide and put balls into the box and together as a back four we dealt with it very well.

“The two defenders were strong and dug in when we needed to dig in and they were really good and so were the fullbacks in the game.”
