Nuneaton Town manager Kevin Wilson was pleased with his side's performance in the 0-0 draw against Coventry City on Saturday.

Wilson told Nuneaton News: "The lads did everything that I asked of them. I thought we did ever so well.

"We have only had ten sessions as a team before the game.

"They have taken a lot in from that, though, and I think they will continue to grow and get better the more training – and games – we have."

Wilson added: "It is all about getting things right at the moment.

"We are building towards August that is all.

"I was pleased with what we did in the game on Saturday, though.

"I thought we kept the ball well at times which was pleasing.

"It will get better, though. Some of the lads will not have played in this way before.

"It is about them getting used to that, as well as each other.

"The more that happens the more we will be able to get our way of playing across in games."
