Nuneaton Town boss Kevin Wilkin has said that he was not surprised when he heard that Nathan Cameron was starting for Coventry City last week against Portsmouth.

"We're really pleased for Nathan and delighted we have played a part in his career," said Wilkin to the CT about the centre half Nuneaton had on loan from the Sky Blues.

"Being purely selfish, I wish we still had him here as he is a talented played with a great attitude.

"In the six or so games, he had with us last season he was quality and it doesn't really surprise anyone here that he's made such strides.

"When I heard he was in the starting line-up against Portsmouth, I knew he would not let Coventry down as he does the simple things well and doesn't get too flustered about anything.

"Hopefully, this is the start of a long and successful career for the lad."
