Not Pressley's Fault

When will these so called supporters get off Mr Pressley's back.

I have supported Coventry City for over 75 years and believe he is probably the most dedicated manager we have had.

What other manager would put ut with the difficulties he has put up with?  The only players he has been able to bring in are players who have failed at other clubs and are available for free, and who would come to CCFC for the money we could afford to pay.

Also when are the supporters who want SISU out, going to realise that SISU are the only people keeping the club going, yes, they would probably accept the have made mistakes, but nevertheless keep financing the club.

The problems in  my opinion have been caused more by ACL/ COVENTRY COUNCIL ,When it became obvious that Coventry City could not afford £1.2 pounds rent and tried to negotiate a reduction,ACL refused ,which meant the only option for SISU was to allow the club to go into administration and move out.  ACL then decided they could lower the rent  but it was too late.

I could go on ,but I will just make one further point ,when CCFC decided to move to Northampton there was protests boycotts etc. the protest campaign to return to the Ricoh supported by the Telegraph ( together with the local MP,s one of which was in a senior position on the board of CCFC when Highfield Road was sold and was part of the decision making to move to the present site.) so, where were all these protesters when the ACL and the Higgs charity decided to sell the RICOH to a club 80 miles or so away for about £20m, a stadium that cost over £100 million to build.

So having returned the Ricoh is sold then from under the feet of CCFC ,even though SISU offered to buy a half share, which leaves me to ask the question of the Higgs Trust, I thought the purpose of this trust was to support organisations in Coventry so why did you not allow SISU to buy your share of the Ricoh for CCFC.

I think I have gone on enough, so will end by saying I have watched CCFC in every division since war time football ,through good and difficult times, and no matter what league they play in they are my team.
