Whilst Iain Dowie remains frustrated by the Sky Blues being under a transfer embargo, Norwich boss Glenn Roeder has strengthened his squad ahead of Saturday's game against City.

With today being the loan transfer dead-line day, Roeder has taken Ched Evans, who scored a hat-trick for Wales U21 on Tuesday on loan from Manchester City, to add to his previous loanees of Matty Patterson (Newcastle) and Mo Kamara (Derby).

There is good new for Dowie, who took his players to Warwick Races yesterday is that, Gary Borrowdale,Ellery Cairo,Michael Hughes and Julian Gray all came through the reserves behind closed doors friendly at Forest on Tuesday and will be added to the squad which travels tomorrow afternoon.
